Design

Applying the core ideas of design thinking for solving problems.

We foster a human-centered culture to help our clients

With the understanding that there is a solution to every complex problem, developing a culture centered around design thinking is logical. We work closely with our clients on this approach to consider this strategy as the evolution of ideas or artistic processes, given that it is both technique-driven and intuitive.

With that in mind our interdisciplinary teams typically move into a structured brainstorming process to ensure that the solutions offered are technologically feasible, economically viable, and deeply relevant to your needs.

Our approach

Insight. Creativity. Practicality.

We don’t operate a one-size-fits-all approach to informing decision making. We brainstorm and develop a customised plan that will optimise your needs.

Concept

We believe conscious effort is required to achieve long-term success. Therefore, we devise methods to meet your needs, either by adopting your strategy or changing what you already have to offer.

Build

We focus on what needs to be done to deliver an innovative, bespoke service according to your schedule. Building on our well-rounded teams that complement their abilities, we keep your projects on schedule and your budgets intact.

Test

With curiosity comes the need for systematic investigation. We use evidence-based approaches and proven best practices to monitor and evaluate the outcomes to determine if they are valuable.

Our Works

We have a commitment to capacity-development and actively volunteer in scientific research, mentoring, and training support services.

GBI

Giving young people the information and skills they need to reach their full potential and make a name for themselves in STEM is a core component of our education for all vision, known as the Give Back Initiative (GBI). In every situation, we provide assistance with their STEM area of interest and development needs by pointing them in the direction of appropriate local resources or answering their requests for better future.

CARE

Through our Collaborative Alliance Research and Education (CARE) programme, Episcope has been involved in a wide range of epidemiological research and educational initiatives either as a lead or collaborator. We use our epidemiological and public health skills in designing and conducting studies to achieve better health and well-being and reduce health inequalities. Our collaboration with some organisations and universities have resulted in the development of innovative research, curriculum and guidelines for epidemiology and public health training.

IPP

We support the fundamental evidence-based strategy of keeping hands clean to prevent infectious diseases because we understand that infection prevention is a priority for everyone. As a result, in our Infection Prevention Project (IPP), we work with organisations such as Infection Prevention Action Network (IPAN) to raise awareness about infection prevention. We also provide customised training and consulting services at different levels to assist in preventing infection.

EpiTrain

The Episcope team is highly skilled and knowledgeable in statistical and epidemiological data processing, including data from monitoring, disease outbreaks, and complex epidemiological investigations. Through our EpiTrain scheme, we organise workshops and training courses in disease surveillance and control, health improvement and protection, policy development and advocacy, research and evaluation and academic writing in various capacities.

Our researchers’ ability to rapidly digest information and willingness to explore and learn new ideas, knowledge and perspectives, and to share theirs, coupled with accepting their disciplines’ limitations are our enabling factors.
